Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Reviews Nowshera Infrastructure; Directs High-Quality, Timely Project Completion

RAJOURI (February 14, 2026): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted an extensive field inspection of several high-priority infrastructure projects in Nowshera today, signaling a push for improved regional connectivity and public services.

During his visit, the Deputy CM evaluated the construction of a 120-meter motorable bridge and its associated approach road connecting Bagnoti to Dabber over the Nowshera River. Funded under NABARD at a cost of ₹771.07 lakh, the project is currently on track for its scheduled completion by June 6, 2026. The inspection also covered the ₹799 lakh upgradation of the 2.9 km road from NH-144A to Nowshera Town, as well as the ₹700 lakh, 70-meter bridge linking Breri to Maseeti Mohalla in Nonial.

Throughout the tour, Deputy CM Choudhary emphasized a strict “zero-compromise” policy regarding construction standards, transparency, and adherence to deadlines. He directed the executing agencies and engineers to ensure that all developmental works translate into tangible benefits for the public.

Following the technical reviews, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera, where he personally interacted with patients to assess the quality of medical services and the availability of essential healthcare facilities.

Accompanied by Chief Engineer PWD Tilak Raj and Executive Engineer Sarwar Mehmood, the Deputy CM was briefed on the technical status of each site, reinforcing the government’s commitment to robust rural infrastructure.
