JAMMU, February 12, 2026 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the Dyar Daham celebrations at the Mata Bhadrakali Temple in Thalwal today, marking a significant event within the ongoing Mahashivratri festivities.
Addressing a diverse gathering, Sinha emphasized that India is currently leading a dual revolution—one focused on infrastructure and digital economy, and the other on the transformation of values and global consciousness. He asserted that the youth must harness India’s ancient spiritual heritage alongside modern scientific achievements to ensure the nation becomes a balanced global superpower.
During his address, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted that for millennia, India has pursued truth and spiritual excellence, reaching a pinnacle of consciousness that now positions the country to guide the world. Sinha observed that India’s strength is not limited to startups and space technology but is deeply rooted in an inner spiritual flame ignited by rishis and sages, whom he described as the nation’s “original scientists”. According to Sinha, science labs and ashrams are not rivals but allies on the same path toward progress. As part of the celebrations, Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone for a new cultural heritage centre at the Mata Bhadrakali Asthapan.
