SAMBA, FEB 8, 2026 — Alert troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt on Sunday by apprehending a Pakistani intruder along the Indo-Pakistan International Border in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district.
According to official sources, the BSF personnel on duty noticed suspicious movement near the border fence and acted swiftly to detain the individual before he could move further into Indian territory. The apprehended intruder was immediately taken into custody and is currently undergoing intensive questioning by security agencies.
A comprehensive investigation has been launched to ascertain the identity of the individual and the specific motive behind the unauthorized crossing, as the BSF continues to maintain a high state of vigilance across the International Border to ensure regional security.
