LG Manoj Sinha Celebrates Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, Hails State as India’s Cultural Heartland

JAMMU | JANUARY 24, 2026 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha presided over a grand celebration of Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day at the Lok Bhavan in Jammu today, extending his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state.

Addressing a diverse gathering that included Hathras MP Anoop Pradhan, senior officials, and residents of Uttar Pradesh living in Jammu and Kashmir, the Lieutenant Governor described the state as the “wellspring of India’s cultural consciousness” and the cradle of the nation’s most sacred scriptures, including the Vedas, Ramayana, and Mahabharata.
