Srinagar Airport Flight Cancellations: Three Delhi Flights Grounded Due to Republic Day Arrangements

SRINAGAR, January 21, 2026 :- The Srinagar Airport Authority has issued a critical passenger advisory today following the cancellation of several key flights.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), authorities confirmed that three scheduled flights to and from Srinagar have been cancelled by their respective airlines as a result of airspace and operational arrangements at Delhi Airport in view of Republic Day celebrations.

The cancellations affect travel between Srinagar and the national capital, impacting both morning and afternoon schedules.

According to official flight records, the grounded services include IndiGo flight 6E5133/6E6854, which was scheduled to arrive at 08:10 and depart at 08:50. Also affected are Air India Express flight IX1980/1017, with an arrival time of 14:10 and departure at 14:45, and Akasa Air flight QP1802/1803, which was slated to arrive at 13:50 and depart at 14:30.

Airport officials have advised all passengers to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before heading to the terminal to avoid further inconvenience during this period of adjusted air traffic.
