Assam Rifles National Integration Tour: JIMPAL Members from Manipur Meet Governor of Odisha

Bhubaneswar | January 16, 2026 — As part of a significant outreach initiative, the Assam Rifles organized a National Integration Tour under its Civic Action Programme, bringing members of the Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) from Jiribam, Manipur, to the capital of Odisha.
The delegation engaged in a meaningful interaction with the Honorable Governor of Odisha, where they shared personal experiences and discussed the unique cultural landscape of Northeast India. During the visit, the team was given a guided tour of the historic Raj Bhawan and the serene Atal Van, providing them with a deeper glimpse into the heritage and environmental initiatives of the state.
The engagement concluded with a high tea session, where the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the tour presented the Governor with the iconic Assam Rifles ‘Dhai Moorti’ memento as a symbol of prestige and gratitude. This exchange was designed to foster warm connections between the residents of Manipur and Odisha, bridging geographical gaps through dialogue.
