Inner Wheel District 307 Boosts Udhampur Healthcare with New Health ATM at Rotary Hospital

UDHAMPUR | January 10, 2026 — In a major stride toward accessible and preventive healthcare, Inner Wheel District 307 Chairman Priti Khajuria officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art Health Automated Machine (ATM) at the Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital, Udhampur. This innovative digital health kiosk is designed to provide rapid and accurate health assessments, offering a vital resource for the local community. By providing essential medical screenings at significantly more affordable and economical prices than the commercial market, the initiative aims to dismantle financial barriers to routine diagnostics and encourage a proactive approach to personal well-being.

The Health ATM serves as a comprehensive diagnostic hub, capable of monitoring over 70 essential health parameters. This includes critical tests for HbA1c, Hemoglobin, ECG, blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI, as well as screenings for infectious diseases such as COVID-19, Dengue, Chikungunya, and HIV. During the ceremony, Chairman Khajuria emphasized that this project embodies the Inner Wheel spirit of “Service Above Self,” specifically targeting the needs of economically weaker sections who might otherwise forgo preventive check-ups. Supported by IWC Udhampur President Anu Gangotra and the management of Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital, the installation marks a successful collaboration between voluntary organizations and healthcare providers to foster a healthier, more informed society.
