Fatal Road Accident in Bhaderwah: Woman Killed After Being Hit by Speeding Mini Bus

BHADERWAH, January 07, 2025:- A tragic road accident claimed the life of a woman today in the Bhoru Chinta area of Bhaderwah after she was struck by a passenger vehicle.

The deceased has been identified as Bimla Devi, wife of Hari Lal, a local resident who was reportedly crossing the road when the mishap occurred.

According to official reports, a mini bus (bearing registration number JK06B-1638) was allegedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner when it hit the victim.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the woman succumbed to her injuries on the spot before any medical assistance could be rendered.Local authorities and police officials reached the site shortly after the incident.

Preliminary findings suggest that overspeeding may have been a contributing factor to the tragedy.

Police have taken formal cognizance of the accident, and a case has been registered to initiate a thorough investigation into the driver’s conduct and the circumstances leading to the fatality.
