KPDCL announces scheduled power shutdown in Srinagar and other districts

SRINAGAR, June 29 — Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that a shutdown of the 33 kV Safakadal-Wanganpora line will be observed, affecting power supply to Noorbagh, Safakadal, Eidgah, Rathpora, Saidapora, Baghwanpora, Ganderpora, De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 30 and July 2, 2026.

Similarly, a shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam line will affect power supply to Ompora, SIDCO, Nasrullahpora, Bemina, Budgam Town, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 30, 2026.The shutdown of the 33 KV Potushai-Bandipora-Ajar line will impact power supply to Panzigam, Kuloosa, Kazipora, Khayar, Ajar, Town Arin, Arin, Aham Sharief, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 28, 2026.

Meanwhile, the shutdown of the 33 KV Potushai Ajas line will affect power supply to Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipora, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 28, 2026. Furthermore, the shutdown of the 33 KV Manigam Tapline will affect power supply to Manigam, Gutlibagh, Wayil, PTS, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 30, 2026.

A scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Kanipora-IGC Aglar line will affect power supply to IGC Aglar, Mega Fruit Mandi, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on July 5, 2026. Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Kanipora-Pinjoora line will affect power supply to Pinjoora, Puhnoo, Trenz, Mohanpora, Imam Sahib, Kiloora, Arhama, Zawoora, Chowdrigund, Reshinagar, Vehil, Palpora, Benimpora, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 30 and July 2, 2026.

The shutdown of the 33 KV Awantipora-Tral-2nd line will affect power supply to Batagund, Lurgam, Nanar, Taki, Lam, Jawaharpora, Aripal, Khangund, Satoora, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 29 and July 1, 2026. Additionally, the shutdown of the 33 kV Wangapora-Takenwari line will affect power supply to Shanglipora, Sangam, and adjoining areas from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 30, 2026.

Lastly, the shutdown of the 33 kV Cheshmashahi-TRC line will affect power supply to the Chief Minister’s Residence, Deputy Chief Minister’s Residence, Gupkar, Durganag, Paras Hospital, Dal, Chinar Bagh, and adjoining areas from 10 AM to 02 PM on June 30, 2026.
