Sashastra Seema Bal ADG Rekha Lohani reviews India Nepal border security Lucknow Rupaidiha

LUCKNOW, July 11, 2026: Sashastra Seema Bal Additional Director General Rekha Lohani visited the Frontier Headquarters Lucknow, the 42nd and 59th Battalions, and the Integrated Check Post at Rupaidiha on the second day of her official tour.

During the visit, she comprehensively reviewed operational and security arrangements along the border and interacted directly with officers and jawans. The Additional Director General also addressed a special Sainik Sammelan to boost morale and discuss on-ground security measures.

In an effort to strengthen international border coordination, meetings were held with officials from the Land Ports Authority of India, Customs, Immigration, the Armed Police Force Nepal, and the Nepal Police.

The discussions focused on enhancing mutual cooperation, managing border check posts efficiently, and maintaining robust security protocols along the India-Nepal border region.
