Retiring army personnel pay tribute at war memorial
NEW DELHI, June 29, 2026 — A total of 314 retiring Indian Army personnel paid solemn homage at the 1 STC War Memorial as they prepare to conclude their distinguished military service.
The personnel, who are currently undergoing their Discharge Drill at the Corps of Signals Centre, stood before the names of the fallen heroes to reflect on the immense sacrifices made for the nation.
Although their active service is drawing to a close, the enduring spirit of these soldiers remains a testament to the proud legacy of the Corps.
