GOC Fire & Fury Corps Reviews Operational Readiness in Kargil and Dras Sectors

KARGIL, July 8, 2026: Lt Gen Madanraj Pande, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Fire & Fury Corps, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Forever in Operations Division and forward deployments across the Dras, Kargil, and Biamah Sectors. The high-level visit was aimed at assessing operational preparedness, strategic security infrastructure, and the combat readiness of troops stationed in these highly challenging, high-altitude terrains.
During his tour of the forward positions, the Corps Commander directly interacted with the deployed personnel, highly commending them for their exceptional grit, resilience, and unwavering commitment to national security under grueling environmental conditions. Emphasizing the critical nature of their mission, Lt Gen Pande exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of vigilance, tactical readiness, and situational awareness along the Line of Control (LoC) to counter any potential security challenges.
