Reasi Police attached Vehicle under NDPS Act

Reasi, 17 December :- District Police Reasi, in its continued crackdown against drug trafficking, has attached a vehicle involved in a narcotics case under the provisions of the NDPS Act.A Hyundai Santro car, belonging to the accused Anit Kumar S/O Late Ram Prakash R/O Kun Darorian, Ward No. 5, Katra, District Reasi, has been attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 251/2025 registered under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act.

The attachment has been carried out as part of legal proceedings to curb the misuse of movable property for narcotics-related activities and to dismantle the logistical support of drug networks.

The entire operation was carried out by Incharge Police Post Kakryal Akhilesh Khajuria and SHO Police Station Katra Ranjeet Singh Rao under close Supervision of SDPO Katra Dr Bhishm Dubey and SP Katra Vipan Chandran.

SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh reiterates its firm commitment to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against drug menace and appeals to the general public to cooperate and share information related to drug trafficking for a safer and drug-free society.
