Udhampur 15 October :- In a major action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Udhampur Police has attached a moveable property worth approximately ₹16 lakhs belonging to drug peddler Mohd. Arif S/O Mohd. Ayoub R/O Birshella, Tehsil and District Doda, under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.The attached/seized property includes:One Innova Car valued approximately ₹16,00,000/-
The attachment order was issued by the Investigating Officer during the course of investigation of Case FIR No. 145/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act after it was established that the said vehicle had been acquired from the proceeds of crime related to the offence.Udhampur Police reiterates its firm commitment towards eradicating the drug menace from society and will continue to take strict action against offenders under the law.
