Samba 12 October :- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana and recovered 30.70 grams heroin like substance from their possession.
A Police team of Police Station Bari Brahmana, during naka cheking intercepted two persons near Sarore Adda Bari Brahmana who were moving under suspicious circumstances in a Alto Car bearing registration No. JK20A-2866. During frisking, approximately 30.70 grams heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of said persons.
The drug peddlers identified as Mushtaq Hussain S/o Nazir Hussain and Zafar Shah S/o Haider Shah both resident of village Targain tehsil Budhal district Rajouri have been arrested and the contraband item has been seized. The Alto car has also been seized by the Police in the instant case.
A case FIR No 165/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
