Huge Participation of Public in the event
Jammu, 04 October :- Jammu Police organized ‘Run for Unity’ at Bishnah under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) in collaboration with Reckon Group Bishnah,Cycling Group Bishnah,Media fraternity of Bishnah and other prominent citizens of Bishnah to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The run begins from Police Station Bishnah and participants continues running through key roads of Bishah town (upto 2 Kms) and finally culminates at Police Station Bishnah .The Run for unity was followed by brief entertainment session.The Run for unity at Bishnah witnessed huge, enthusiastic participation of about more than 500 youth, students, and civil society members including business community of area,media fraternity and other sections of the society.
The event was flagged off by SP Headquarters Jammu in presence in the presence of SDPO R S Pura,SHO Bishnah Rakesh Singh Jamwal and prominent civil Society and Media fraternity members of Bishnah.The run aimed to spread the message of unity, discipline, and national integration, paying tribute to the Sardar Vallabh-bhai Patel- “Iron Man of India.
SP headquarters Jammu on this occassoon lauded the efforts of the participants and reiterated its commitment to promoting unity, integrity, and patriotism in line with the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
