UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 26: On the tenth day of the Swasth Nari Shakshat Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA), the health teams continued screening and awareness activities across District Udhampur witnessing enthusiastic participation from women.Beneficiaries were screened for hypertension, diabetes, anemia, tuberculosis and common cancers including cervical, breast and oral cancers.
Free diagnostic services such as hemoglobin estimation, blood sugar testing, sputum examination, chest X-rays and ultrasound were provided at health facilities under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai.In addition to screenings, special counselling sessions were conducted focusing on nutrition, anemia prevention, lifestyle modifications and awareness about tuberculosis symptoms and treatment adherence.
Women diagnosed with health concerns were linked to appropriate care and follow-up support.The campaign continues to make steady progress with growing outreach in both rural and urban areas, reflecting strong community participation and appreciation for this preventive health initiative.
