Jammu, September 22, 2025 – A cleanliness drive is currently underway across Indian Railways, raising awareness about cleanliness. Various activities are being organized daily in Jammu Division as part of this cleanliness drive.
Today A public awareness campaign was launched at various railway stations, including Jammu, Katra, Pathankot Cantt, Pathankot City, Srinagar, and Budgam, to emphasize the ban on the use of single-use plastic and the collection of plastic waste. Passengers, employees, and their families were made aware of the importance of reducing single-use plastic use at the stations.Giving the message on this cleanliness drive, the Divisional Railway Manager said that passengers should reduce the use of plastic bottles during their journey and play their part in protecting the environment through the cleanliness drive.
