Udhampur 22 September :- A special tree planting campaign was organized at the local level to realize the commitment to environmental protection and a clean and green India. Senior BSF officers, DFO, Forest Department employees, and local citizens actively participated in the event.
Under this campaign, over 5,000 saplings were planted in the Forsat area of Battal Ballian in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district , including special species of shade trees and fruit trees.
Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure the care of each sapling so that they can grow and benefit the environment in the future.
Senior officials appealed to the gathering to participate in this sacred effort by planting as many trees as possible and play their important role in environmental protection.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials said this campaign is a strong step towards providing a clean and healthy environment for future generations. Every citizen should become an integral part of this mission by planting at least one tree and taking care of it.
