Handwara Police Conducts Awareness Programme on New Criminal Laws through Audio-Visual Means

Handwara, 18 September :-In its continued efforts to create awareness and educate the public about important legal reforms, Handwara Police organised a comprehensive awareness programme on the newly introduced Criminal Laws across Police District Handwara.

The initiative was carried out through audio-visual means at prominent locations including Main Chowk Handwara and Main Chowk Vilgam, attracting a large number of citizens. Informative videos and presentations were displayed to ensure that people from all walks of life could easily understand the changes brought under the new legal framework.

The programme highlighted the key provisions of the new criminal laws, with special emphasis on sections that directly concern the safety, dignity, and rights of common citizens.
