DIGP DKR range visits Banihal, felicitates SIT team for solving blind triple murder case.
Banihal, 17 September – DIGP DKR Range, Shridhar Patil-IPS today visited Police Station Banihal and felicitated the members of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for their commendable work in solving the recent triple murder case registered under case 95/2025. The SIT’s prompt and professional investigation ensured the swift resolution of the case, which had caused considerable concern in the region.
The DIGP lauded the SIT for their dedication, commitment and professionalism in identification and arrest of the accused of this barbaric crime. He urged officers and personnel to continue discharging their duties with the same zeal and responsibility to uphold the trust of people and safeguard public peace.
He expressed gratitude to the people of the area who spontaneously visited the police station Banihal to convey their appreciation towards J&K Police for their exemplary service.
SSP Ramban, Arun Gupta and SDPO Banihal, Manjeet Singh, along with other officers, were present and joined in commending the SIT.
