Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth Reviews Manipur Security Situation and Operational Readiness in Northeast Visit
IMPHAL, July 28 — Chief of Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth reviewed the prevailing security scenario and operational preparedness across Manipur during his official tour of the Spear Corps sector. Senior military leaders briefed the Army Chief on the readiness of the Red Shield Division alongside the Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) and (East) units.
In addition to evaluating security measures, General Seth reviewed extensive nation-building projects led by local military formations and the Assam Rifles to foster long-term peace, stability, and regional development. Interacting directly with the troops, he commended their dedication and urged them to remain vigilant, operationally agile, and future-ready to tackle evolving security challenges effectively.
