Kargil War Veterans Inspire Agniveers at Rajput Regimental Centre Ahead of Vijay Diwas

FATEHGARH, July 15, 2026: As part of the ongoing Kargil Hero Series commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Rajput Regimental Centre organized an interactive session bringing together Kargil War veterans and newly recruited Agniveers.

During the event, retired Honorary Captain Ravinder Kumar Singh, SM (5 PARA) and retired Naik Ashok Kumar (16 Grenadiers) recounted their firsthand battlefield experiences from Operation Vijay. The veterans shared enduring lessons on courage, leadership, resilience, and selfless service, delivering powerful narratives that reinforced the core values of a soldier.

The interaction served to deeply motivate the next generation of trainees, inspiring them to honor and carry forward the proud legacy of the Indian Army.
