Annual Sarvadhar Chhari Yatra Flags Off from Ramban’s Ukhral with High Security
RAMBAN, JULY 11 — The annual Sarvadhar Chhari Yatra officially commenced today as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Arun Gupta, alongside Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak, ceremonially flagged off the pilgrimage from Ukhral.
This highly revered annual journey takes thousands of devotees to the holy shrine of Senabhati Sarvadhar, culminating at the historic Chamunda Mata Temple perched atop the scenic Sarvadhar Peak in the Pogal-Paristan region. Attended by prominent citizens, district officials, and a massive gathering of pilgrims, the event highlights the deep-rooted spiritual devotion of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
To ensure a smooth and safe experience, the district administration and local police have deployed extensive security personnel and coordinated comprehensive civil arrangements—including drinking water, sanitation, medical facilities, and transportation management—earning widespread gratitude from the devotees praying for peace and prosperity.
