Indian Army Hosts Ayushman Bharat Healthcare Awareness Program in Pallanwala, Jammu

JAMMU, July 11, 2026: The Indian Army organized an informative awareness lecture on the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) SEHAT Scheme for the residents of Pallanwala. Conducted by retired Ex-Serviceman Nb Sub Gulbadan, the session educated participants on eligibility criteria, healthcare benefits, and the various treatment facilities available under the government initiative. The primary objective of the program was to ensure that border area residents can seamlessly access and benefit from these essential government healthcare services.

During the event, local villagers actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions to clarify registration procedures and how to access empanelled hospitals. This initiative successfully raised healthcare awareness and empowered the local community to utilize the scheme effectively.
