Indian Information Service trainees meet with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, July 11, 2026 — A group of 16 Indian Information Service (IIS) Officer Trainees from the 2023 batch met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan today.

Accompanied by the Director of the Press Information Bureau in Srinagar, Qazi Salman, the trainees engaged in a discussion regarding their professional journey and their experiences during their visit to Jammu and Kashmir as part of the Bharat Darshan tour program.

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor extended his best wishes to the officers for their future careers. He emphasized the importance of serving with integrity, dedication, and high levels of sensitivity in their upcoming departmental roles.
