PTTI Vijaypur holds ceremonial pipping function for promoted police personnel

VIJAYPUR, July 9, 2026:- A ceremonial pipping function was organized at the Police Technical Training Institute, Vijaypur, to honour police personnel who were recently promoted under the orders issued by Police Headquarters, J&K.

The ceremony was presided over by Ranjit Singh Sambyal, IPS, Principal, PTTI Vijaypur, who formally pinned the new ranks on six promoted police personnel in the presence of Gazetted Officers and staff members of the institute.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal PTTI Vijaypur Ranjit Singh Sambyal congratulated the promotees on their well-earned elevation and emphasized that promotion carries with it greater responsibility, leadership, and commitment to public service. He urged them to discharge their duties with the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, discipline, and dedication while upholding the values and traditions of the Jammu & Kashmir Police.

The officers promoted during the ceremony include Priya Bavoria and Susheel Kumar, who were promoted from Sub-Inspector to Inspector. Additionally, Vijay Kumar and Rashid Mohd were promoted from Assistant Sub-Inspector to Sub-Inspector, while Subash Chander and Mastan Singh advanced from Selection Grade Constable to Head Constable.

The promotees expressed their sincere gratitude to the Principal and the institute administration for organizing the ceremonial pipping function and for recognizing this significant milestone in their professional careers.
