Jaipur Airport hosts training session on drug detection and NDPS compliance
JAIPUR, July 07 — Jaipur Airport recently hosted an awareness session focused on the detection and handling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances to strengthen security and operational readiness.
Abhijit Singh, an IPS officer and DIG of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force in Jaipur, led the informative briefing. He provided airport personnel with detailed insights into identifying illegal substances, understanding safe handling protocols, and recognizing emerging methods used for concealing contraband.
The session also covered the essential legal provisions under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Singh emphasized the critical role of constant vigilance and coordinated efforts among enforcement agencies to ensure effective security and counter smuggling operations successfully.
