Indian Army busts terrorist hideout and recovers large arms cache in Kupwara’s Keran sector

KUPWARA, July 6 — The Indian Army launched a targeted search operation today in the general area of the Keran sector in Kupwara district following specific intelligence inputs regarding terrorist activity.

During the intensive search of the sector, security forces successfully uncovered a hidden transit dump and busted a terrorist hideout.

The Chinar Corps recovered an extensive cache of weapons and ammunition from the site, including five AK-series rifles, nine AK magazines, one hand grenade, and a large quantity of war-like stores, effectively thwarting potential subversive activities in the frontier district.
