Indian Army swiftly clears highway after accident near Saspol

SASPOL, JULY 4, 2026 :- Troops of the Dorje Division responded swiftly to a road accident near Saspol, demonstrating the Indian Army’s commitment to humanitarian aid and civilian assistance in the region.

Working in close coordination with the Khaltsi Police, the soldiers successfully recovered the accident-hit vehicle and restored the normal flow of traffic on the Srinagar–Leh National Highway.

The prompt and coordinated action by the military personnel ensured the safety of commuters and prevented prolonged disruptions on Ladakh’s vital transport lifeline.
