Corps of Signals motorcycle expedition reaches Kargil War Memorial in Dras to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas

DRAS, July 4, 2026 — The Wheels of Valour – Sanchar Shakti Motorcycle Expedition of the Corps of Signals reached the Kargil War Memorial in Dras, marking the twelfth day of its journey after flag-off from Delhi. Traversing through Ambala, Firozpur, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Yol, Palampur, Manali, Padam, and Kargil, the long-distance expedition was organized as a key part of the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorations.

The expedition group comprised 24 riders who successfully negotiated diverse terrain, steep mountain passes, and the rugged Himalayan landscape with determination and discipline.

Upon arriving at the hallowed Kargil War Memorial, the team paid solemn homage to the bravehearts of the Kargil War, honoring their supreme sacrifice and reaffirming the enduring spirit of courage, remembrance, and the core military value of Nation First.
