Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Honors Kargil Heroes at Dras War Memorial

DRAS, JULY 04, 2026: Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, paid a solemn visit to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras today to honor the fallen heroes of the Indian Armed Forces.

Accompanied by his wife,Sarita Singh, the Air Chief Marshal laid a commemorative wreath at the memorial, paying rich tributes to the bravehearts of Operation Vijay. His visit underscored the nation’s eternal gratitude for the indomitable courage, unwavering fortitude, and supreme sacrifices made by the soldiers in defending the country’s sovereignty during the 1999 Kargil conflict.
