Chinar Corps Hoists Monumental High Mast Indian Flag at Chandanwari

CHANDANWARI JULY 04, 2026: In a powerful display of patriotism, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army has officially dedicated a majestic High Mast National Flag to the nation at Chandanwari, the historic gateway for pilgrims embarking on the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra via the traditional Pahalgam route.

This soaring Tricolour, set against the backdrop of the region’s breathtaking mountain landscape, symbolizes the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to national unity, resilience, and its deep bond with the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior military officials, civil administration representatives, sister security forces, veterans, and local residents, all gathering to sing the National Anthem as the flag was hoisted.
