Indian Navy Ship INS Sudarshini Visits Baltimore to Strengthen Maritime Bonds

BALTIMORE, June 29, 2026 :- The Indian Navy tall ship INS Sudarshini has arrived in Baltimore as part of its ongoing journey to forge closer maritime relations across the Atlantic.

During the port call, the vessel hosted several high-level diplomatic and local engagements to promote bilateral cooperation between India and the United States.

The ship served as a venue for a major gathering that included Vinay Mohan Kwatra, the Indian Ambassador to the United States, alongside Aruna Miller, the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland.

In addition to these formal diplomatic meetings, the naval crew actively connected with the local community by marching in the Baltimore City Parade as part of the Sail 250 Maryland celebrations.
