Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Drives Governance Outreach Across Rajouri District

RAJOURI, June 26, 2026 — Advancing the administration’s localized governance push, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted an extensive public outreach programme across Rajouri district today. Engaging directly with local citizens at multiple locations, Choudhary evaluated regional development plans and documented community-driven priorities. During a public interaction session in Nowshera, residents and visiting delegations raised distinct local grievances, receiving firm institutional assurances that the current government remains strictly dedicated to maintaining a responsive, swift administrative machinery for resolving public issues.

The developmental tour continued toward Dalhori (Dhangri), with a brief stopover at Dalogra where the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with local groups to reaffirm the administration’s core philosophy of inclusive regional development. Later, while addressing a large public gathering at Dalhori (Dhangri), Choudhary thanked the community members for their support, emphasizing that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah-led government is fully committed to meeting the specific regional aspirations across all territories of Jammu and Kashmir. Concluding the outreach series, a finalized public meeting was held at the R&B Guest House in Thanamandi to discuss enhanced service delivery and long-term infrastructural improvements, before the Deputy Chief Minister paid a spiritual visit to the popular local shrine of Shadara Sharief Rajouri.
