Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Operational Readiness and Civil-Military Synergy at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre
LEH, June 26, 2026 — General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre to comprehensively review training initiatives, operational capabilities, regimental developments, and the ongoing civil-military synergy with the Ladakh Administration. During his visit, the Army Chief inspected the upgraded Mutup Sanghralaya museum, which now features a newly established “Chief’s Corner” dedicated to showcasing the illustrious legacy of the Chief of the Army Staff. General Dwivedi highly commended the training faculty and administrative staff for their deep dedication and professionalism in shaping disciplined, resilient soldiers capable of serving the nation.
Lauding all ranks of the Ladakh Scouts for their operational excellence, high state of readiness, and unwavering commitment while operating in the highly challenging high-altitude terrain of Ladakh, the Chief of the Army Staff emphasized the importance of their strategic role. To recognize outstanding performance and dedication to duty, General Dwivedi pinned Commendation Cards onto selected personnel, directly appreciating their significant contributions to maintaining robust operational preparedness along the borders.
