Indian Army ASC Centre Bengaluru Concludes Officers Transport Management Course 2026
BENGALURU, June 26, 2026 — The prestigious Officers’ Transport Management Course at the ASC Centre & College in Bengaluru successfully concluded on June 25, 2026, marking the completion of an intensive training program aimed at modernizing military logistics. The high-profile course was attended by a diverse cohort of Indian Army officers alongside international military personnel from friendly foreign nations, including Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Lesotho, and Nepal. This multinational participation underscores India’s growing role in fostering defense cooperation and knowledge-sharing across global military networks.
During the valedictory ceremony, Lieutenant General J K Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College, delivered the keynote address. Lt Gen Gera urged the graduating officers to stay ahead of the curve by embracing the latest technological advancements in the automotive industry. He emphasized the critical importance of utilizing their newly acquired expertise to train troops back in their respective units, ensuring that their mechanical transport fleets remain operationally ready to tackle evolving modern warfare and logistics challenges.
The ceremony also celebrated outstanding individual achievements among the course participants. Lieutenant Simran Singh Rathi was honored as the Best Student of the course for demonstrating exceptional academic and practical merit. Additionally, Captain Dipesh Budhathoki of the Nepal Army was named the Best Foreign Officer, highlighting the strong bilateral ties and high caliber of international trainees participating in India’s premier military training institutions.
