Eid ul Azha celebrated with religious fervor and communal harmony in Poonch

POONCH, May 27, 2026:- Eid ul Azha was celebrated across Poonch district with immense religious fervor, enthusiasm, and communal harmony. The main celebrations drew a large gathering of devotees from various villages and areas of the district, who participated in special Eid prayers with deep religious devotion. Following the prayers, people embraced and greeted one another, offering prayers for the lasting prosperity, peace, and well-being of society.

On this auspicious occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police Shafqat Hussain Bhat, joined by officers from the civil and police administrations, religious heads, and prominent citizens, gathered at the Eidgah to participate in the festivities.

The dignitaries interacted closely with the public and exchanged warm greetings.
