UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 10, 2026: Under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025–26, the 137 Battalion organized a successful free medical camp at Government Middle School, Dharmathal, aimed at providing essential healthcare to underserved populations.
Conducted under the supervision of Commandant M.K. Sicon and supported by the local civil administration, police, and health departments, the initiative saw medical experts including Dr. Manish Rundla and teams from PHC Chenani examine 171 beneficiaries.
Residents received comprehensive check-ups and free medicines for various conditions such as infections, respiratory issues, and joint pain, along with the distribution of hygiene products and sanitary pads.
The event, attended by senior officials including SDPO Chenani Sukhvir Singh and local Sarpanch Makhana Devi, was widely lauded by the villagers for bringing quality medical services to their doorsteps and strengthening the vital bond between security forces and the civilian community.
