JAMMU, FEBRUARY 10, 2026: A delegation from the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Bhandara Organisation (SAYBO), led by President Rajan Kapoor, met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today to discuss critical logistical arrangements for the upcoming annual pilgrimage.
During the interaction, the delegation highlighted various operational matters and requirements for setting up community kitchens (bhandaras) along the Yatra route to ensure the comfort and well-being of pilgrims.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha commended the vital contribution of voluntary organizations in ensuring the success of the Yatra and assured the representatives that the government would take appropriate steps to address the concerns of bhandara sewadars.
The meeting, which aimed at streamlining services for the 2026 pilgrimage season, was also attended by Mandeep K. Bhandari, CEO of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), and Rahul Singh, Additional CEO of the SASB.
