Anantnag Police Safely Evacuate Family After Massive Tree Collapse in Aishmuqam

ANANTNAG, JANUARY 23, 2026 — In a swift emergency response, the Anantnag Police provided critical assistance to a family in Syed Pathri, Reshkulbal, Aishmuqam, after a large pine tree collapsed onto their residential property.

The incident occurred at the home of Mohd Yaseen Shah, son of Noorani Shah, causing significant structural damage to the house; however, authorities confirmed that no loss of life or injuries were reported during the event.

Upon being alerted to the situation, the SDPO Pahalgam and the SHO of Police Station Aishmuqam arrived on the scene immediately to lead the rescue operation, successfully evacuating all six family members to safety. As a precautionary measure, the displaced family has been relocated to a nearby residence within the village.
