NAGROTA, January 15, 2026: To commemorate the 78th Army Day, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with all ranks, extended heartfelt greetings to the bravehearts of the Indian Army, honoring their unwavering dedication to the nation’s sovereignty.
The day began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Ashwamedh War Memorial within the Nagrota Military Station. During the ceremony, the GOC paid a moving tribute to the fallen soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice, reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to the finest traditions of duty, discipline, and selfless service.
In a significant addition to the military station’s landmarks, the GOC also inaugurated the “Shaurya Dhara Fountain,” a newly constructed monument designed to serve as a timeless symbol of the Army’s valor and resilience.
Officials stated that the fountain is intended to inspire national pride and motivate the youth of the region to embrace the core values of “service before self.”
