Unity in Diversity: NCC Nagrota Hosts Vibrant Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp for Youth

NAGROTA, January 15, 2026: Defying the biting winter chill with “high josh,” the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) camp at the NCC Training Academy (NTA) in Nagrota has become a vibrant hub of national integration.

Cadets from the Rajasthan and Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (JK&L) Directorates joined forces to celebrate India’s cultural tapestry through a series of interactive and competitive events. The day opened with insightful lectures on the rich heritage of Jammu and Kashmir by Prof. Seema Kumari and Rupali Maini, providing the visiting cadets with a deep dive into the region’s timeless traditions and history.

The spirit of the camp was further galvanized by Brigadier D. N. Pandey, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Jammu, who urged the participants to look beyond their uniforms and forge lifelong bonds that transcend regional borders.

Highlighting the camp as a “melting pot” for fresh ideas, Brigadier Pandey encouraged the youth to think outside the box and embrace diversity with open hearts. The day’s activities showcased the multifaceted talents of the cadets, ranging from an eloquent Public Speaking Competition to a high-precision Firing Competition, where participants demonstrated exceptional discipline and focus.
