KATHUA: 05 Jan 2026The 14th Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone T-20 Cricket Championship reached an exciting milestone today as Haryana Cricket Academy dominated KGF XI by eight wickets in the third quarter-final match held at the Sports Stadium in Kathua.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, KGF XI struggled to find momentum against a disciplined bowling attack, eventually being bowled out for a modest total of 95 runs in 20 overs, with Raghav contributing a top score of 25 runs. Chasing a target of 96, the Haryana Cricket Academy displayed an aggressive batting performance, comfortably reaching the total in just 9.4 overs for the loss of only two wickets. Leading the charge was Ashwani Chillar, who smashed a blistering 41 runs off 23 balls, featuring three boundaries and three sixes, supported by Aryan’s steady 28.

Following their clinical victory, Haryana Cricket Academy became the third team to qualify for the semi-finals, while Ashwani Chillar was deservedly named “Man of the Match” for his match-winning contribution.
