BARI BRAHMANA, DECEMBER 21, 2025: Reaffirming the party’s commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India, BJP Jammu and Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma led a massive Karyakarta Sameelan today at Sarore under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan. Addressing thousands of enthusiastic party workers, Sharma declared that the spirit of “Swadeshi” is not merely an economic strategy but a powerful movement rooted in national self-respect and cultural confidence.
He called upon the cadre to spearhead the “Har Ghar Swadeshi” pledge, urging the organization of Assembly-level Swadeshi Melas to empower local artisans and entrepreneurs. Sharma emphasized that promoting indigenous products is the essential engine required to fast-track India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation, or Viksit Bharat, by the year 2047.
The event, which saw party leaders and workers collectively pledge to adopt Indian-made products, was supported by prominent figures including DDC Chairman Samba Keshav Dutt and MLA Vijaypur Chander Prakash Ganga. The leaders highlighted India’s transformative shift toward manufacturing everything from basic necessities to advanced defense equipment domestically, reducing global import dependence.
MLA Ganga noted that Atmanirbhar Bharat has now become a core part of the national character, urging grassroots workers to motivate citizens to support local industries. The conclave, attended by senior leaders including Rekha Mahajan and Rash Pal Verma, concluded with a unified call to turn the vision of self-reliance into a lived reality for every household in the region.
