JAMMU, DECEMBER 20: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar, officially inaugurated the newly constructed Block Development Council (BDC) Building today at Nagrota, Jammu. The ceremony, attended by Secretary RDD Aijaz Asad, Director RDD Shahnaz Akhter, and several District Development Council members, marks a significant step toward strengthening grassroots democracy in the region.
During his address to the local residents and senior officers, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing robust infrastructure and effective governance at the village level. He emphasized that the newly established facility will serve as a hub for the delivery of vital Rural Development services, effectively bringing the administration closer to the people of the Nagrota constituency and streamlining the implementation of welfare schemes.Highlighting the vision of the Omar Abdullah-led government, Javid Ahmad Dar noted that the current administration is deeply focused on ensuring every citizen in rural areas has easy access to essential facilities and developmental initiatives.
