Shri Amarnath Yatra 29th Batch Passes Through Chanderkote Under Tight Security

RAMBAN, Aug 7: The 29th batch of the Amarnath Yatra convoy passed through Chanderkote in Ramban district under elaborate security arrangements as pilgrims continued their journey towards the holy cave shrine.

Authorities maintained multi-tiered security protocols and streamlined traffic management along the route to guarantee a smooth, safe, and orderly movement of the convoy.Heading towards the Baltal base camp, this batch departed at 02:59 a.m. carrying a total of 926 pilgrims. The group comprised 693 adult males, 178 females, 34 sadhus, and 21 sadvis, with no registered children, foreign nationals, or transgender devotees in the convoy.

The entire contingent traveled in a fleet of 42 vehicles. The transport arrangement included 21 buses, 3 medium motor vehicles, 17 light motor vehicles, and 1 two-wheeler, all moving under security escort to ensure safe passage through the transit corridor.
