Dr Dara Singh Assigned Charge as Head of Department of Hospital Administration at GMC Jammu

JAMMU, AUGUST 06, 2026 — In an official directive issued by the Office of the Principal & Dean, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, Dr Dara Singh, Senior Most Medical Superintendent Grade-I / Professor, has been assigned the charge of Head of the Department (HoD) of Hospital Administration at GMC and its Associated Hospitals, Jammu. The order, issued under endorsement number GMC/2026/order/2058 by Principal & Dean Dr Ashutosh Gupta, confirms that Dr Dara Singh will carry out these additional responsibilities alongside his existing duties.

The administrative adjustment follows formal approval granted by the Health and Medical Education Department vide Communication No. ME-Gztd/33/2022-02-(125839) dated August 05, 2026, as well as prior institutional reference letter GMC/ES-1/2026/PF/398 dated June 10, 2026.
