Gajraj Corps Conducts Joint Training with ITBP in Yangtse to Boost Interoperability
YANGTSE — July 17, 2026 — Reaffirming the core spirit of jointness and operational integration, the Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps successfully conducted a joint training exercise with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in the rugged, high-altitude terrain of Yangtse.
The joint training initiative was specifically designed to enhance operational synergy, mutual coordination, and interoperability between the Indian Army and the ITBP. Executed in challenging mountainous conditions, the exercise aligns directly with the Chief of the Army Staff’s (COAS) strategic vision of “VIJAY,” aiming to solidify a unified front in forward defense areas.
