Indian Air Force Rafale Contingent Arrives in Australia for Exercise Pitch Black 2026

NEW DELHI July 17,2026 — The Indian Air Force has officially landed its contingent in Australia to participate in Exercise Pitch Black 2026, marking the commencement of a high-profile, multinational air combat training mission.

As a premier biennial exercise, Pitch Black brings together the air forces of 19 nations, offering a unique global platform designed to enhance international interoperability and strengthen operational cooperation among friendly countries.
